Join us on Thursday, September 12 for a talk by director/curator Ellen Adams to explore the world of Clement S. Miner, a military musician during the War of 1812 (and grandfather of William H. Miner). Learn about the important roles that musicians played both on and off the battlefield as we follow Clement's path from enlistment in Vermont to some of the war's major theaters, including the bloody Niagara campaign of 1814, to his postwar life back in Clinton County.
The program will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will take place in the museum's ballroom. Refreshments will be served.
