Chazy and the War of 1812

During the War of 1812, Chazy found itself directly in the path of both British and American forces as the armies made their way to their encounter at Plattsburgh in September 1814. Join us for a walking tour on September 15 to visit the sites in the village that still remain from this period, and hear the stories of soldiers, sailors, and citizens who experienced this historic moment. The tour will begin at the Alice at 10:00 a.m.

You will also find us at the Children's Old-Time Village Fair in Macdonough Park in Plattsburgh as part of the weekend's Battle of Plattsburgh commemoration. Visit 1814inc.com for a full schedule of events.
