Join us at the Chazy Recreation Park on North Farm Road this Sunday, July 28, for Old Home Day! This annual celebration, now in its 57th year, will be extra special this year as we also celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Chazy Volunteer Fire Department with a parade!
The parade will start at 11:00 a.m. at American Legion Post #769 and proceed down Route 9 to Church Street at the Fire House, and then continue on North Farm Road to the Rec Park. The star of the parade will no doubt be the original 1934 fire engine, made by the Buffalo Fire Appliance Corporation and beautifully restored by members of the CVFD.
You'll find us at the park with a variety of games and crafts, so be sure to stop by to say hello! The festivities will continue until 5:00 p.m.
