Chazy and the Revolution

As part of the Bicentennial commemorations of 1976, the Town of Chazy published a pamphlet by local historian David K. Martin entitled Chazy and the Revolution. The original pamphlet can be hard to find these days, so we worked with Town Historian Ellen Riley to bring it back in a new edition. We've added color images, done some slight reformatting to the text to make it easier to read, and created a new map of cemeteries in the town where Revolutionary War veterans are buried that you can also access via Google Maps. We hope you will enjoy this look back at Chazy in the 18th century (as well as a glimpse of the celebrations of 1976), written by someone who knows and loves the history of our town.
