Riverview Cemetery Walking Tour

Join us for a walk through Chazy's historic Riverview Cemetery, which has been in use since 1811 and is the final resting place of many notable residents, including Alice and William Miner. As we tour the grounds, we'll talk about gravestone symbolism, mourning customs, the experiences of illness and death, and tell the unique stories of some of the individuals buried here. Attendees will also have the opportunity to go inside the Miner mausoleum and the chapel, which are not ordinarily open to the public.

This program is aimed at adults and teens, but younger folks are welcome at their parents' or guardians' discretion. Meet at the Route 9 entrance to the cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
