About the event
Have you ever wondered what it was like to visit Heart's Delight Farm when it was the home of Alice and William Miner? Although not all the buildings they once knew are still here, with some imagination (and visual aids!) we can step back in time to the early 20th century. After the tour, participants are invited to explore the Farm Heritage Exhibit's display on the life of William Miner, partake in some refreshments in front of the exhibit building, and socialize and swap stories.
This tour will be offered twice on Saturday, August 8, at 10:00 a.m. and again at 1:00 p.m. Registration is not required. We'll be walking on paths but comfortable shoes and sun protection are recommended!
Enter at the stone gateposts on Miner Farm Road. Parking is available adjacent to the Farm Heritage Exhibit and in the lot between the Horse Barn and Maintenance Shop. Meet…
