Beat the Boredom!

Beat the winter break blues with two afternoons of games, crafts, and learning! On Wednesday, February 18, head on over to the Miner Institute to make 30-minute mozzarella cheese, create paper airplanes, do a microscope activity with our friends from Lallemand, and build your own trail mix.

Then on Thursday, February 19, action shifts to the Alice, where you can go on a museum scavenger hunt, have some snacks, and make your own board or card game! We'll provide some historical examples of popular games from the past for inspiration, and supply materials to create a game of your very own.

These programs are aimed at elementary and middle school students, but kids of all ages are welcome to attend! Registration is not required. Beat the Boredom will run from 1:00 to 3:00 pm both days.
